On July 28th, 2022 at 2:05pm, Mama escorted me to the entrance of her house, stood for a few seconds, with an amiable voice, Mike-Mike Youngman, Pastor; she called. Good-bye to Calabar, I bless you and your family. Please always take care of your children, especially in education. She finally waved at me and I responded with a smile – Bonhomie. Oh, little did I know that it’s a final farewell to me on this planet.
Three days later, 1st of august 2022, while celebrating Feast of New Covenant/New Month Service in the church. My phone in silent mode, vibrated, I opened the phone line, a voice saying, pray for mama. Within a few seconds another voice, weeping, mama is asleep, departed.
God designed my beloved senior sister to be an instrument to my successful life. Mama, an epitome of love, good breeding, refinement, impeccable quality, activist and a virtuous woman unto God. May God almighty strengthen the family; give peace and fortitude to bear this inevitable occurrence. May her soul find true joy and peace in the bosom of the Lord.
