On behalf of the family of Late Elder Reuben Etuk of Ikot Obio Etop, Ikot Obio Etan, l write to extend to you our deepest sympathy over the death of your dear wife,Mrs. Helen ETON.

We knew her as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a peacemaker. Her genial personality and the generous instincts of this fine woman will be missed not only by our family , but by everyone in the community.

Helen,as we all knew her, was an open and everyone’s  person, quiet and overtly a modest woman, inclined to be extremely cautious of her responsibilities and prone to depreciate her own charms and abilities.

Her lifetime can best be described as an epitome of courage, vision and deep faith in God. She helped many in need, succored the distressed and supported everything that is fine and noble.

She was indeed the people’s person, much esteemed in the community and generally recognised as one whose acts and deeds were worthy of emulation.

There is nothing we can say that will comfort you in this time of your bereavement. All of us in the family have suffered a heavy loss by this death.

We all felt her severe loss very deeply and find it difficult to express adequately our grief.

Please accept for yourself and for all who mourn with you our assurances of heartfelt sympathy.

Her lifetime can best be described as an epitome of courage, vision and deep faith in God.

Elder Joseph EtukFor the family.
