My dear Helen, Mbopo!

Where are you, my beauty?

You were my jewel and pride.  A trusted friend, a dependable wife and caring mother,  why the sudden silence? Words cannot express your absence in my life. I really miss you. Your exit is a thunderbolt, which has created an emptiness nothing else can fill. You left so abruptly without any discussion. What about those assurances you made, “I’ll be fine; I’ll be fine”, were they meant to be explained away this way? I am lost and find it hard to comprehend, though death is a bridge all mortals must cross. Why now?

Our forty five years bonding exemplified profound love and trust, honesty, understanding, care and mutual respect, all to the glory of God. You were a virtuous woman with inestimable generosity; always delighted in giving to help others, even if parting with the last, trusting God to replenish. You touched a lot of people in several ways, and a pillar to many successes.  I believe the results of your positive impact will linger on.

You were a fitting “help meet for me” {Gen.2:18}, the bone of my bones and the flesh of my flesh, an amazing woman, how I wish you had stayed longer to reap the fruits of your endeavours and fulfill the rest of our dreams. I appreciate you and will continue to cherish the memories of our togetherness so long as I have my breath. I loved you but God loves you most.

Adieu my love. Rest in the perfect peace of our Lord.

Words cannot express your absence in my life.
